CPE Credit

MECPA programs qualify for credit toward the Maine Board of Accountancy’s continuing education requirement. Credit is given only for the actual hours attended by a participant.  Fifty (50) minutes of class equals one (1) hour of CPE credit (professional education shall be credited in full hours only). It is permissible to claim less than the total number of credit hours offered by a course, if you cannot attend for the full course duration.

CPE credit acknowledgement will be emailed to participants within one week from the course date.

Registration

All registrations should be received at least 3 business days prior to the course date. Registrations received within 3 business days, may not be guaranteed access to all course materials. All registrations must be accompanied by full payment.

For in-person programs, walk-in registrations are welcome if space allows.

Member/Nonmember Registration Fee

In order to qualify for the member fee, participants must be current members of the MECPA. Members of other state CPA societies may qualify for the member fee. Nonmember fees apply to all other registrations.

Course Cancellation

The MECPA reserves the right to cancel a class for insufficient enrollment. If your class is cancelled, you will be notified at least 5 days before the scheduled date and your course fee will be refunded or you may transfer your fee to another class.

If a participant is unable to attend a course for which they are registered, they must cancel 5  days prior to the course date in order to receive a full refund. There is a $25 charge if cancellation is received less than 5  business days before the course. No refund will be issued for cancellations received within 1 business day of the presentation or for a no-show registrants.
