Micah serves clients as a Wealth Advisor. Prior to joining Vigilant, Micah worked with high net worth individuals in both portfolio management and wealth planning capacities for a firm in the Portland area. Micah received his BS in Finance and Accounting and Master of Science in Accounting at Boston College. He began his career as an accountant at Ernst & Young, LLP, performing assurance and mergers & acquisitions due diligence services. In addition to being a Certified Public Accountant, Micah serves on the Board of the Maine Society of Certified Public Accountants. He also holds the Chartered Financial Analyst designation and is a member of the CFA® Society Maine. He enjoys running and golfing and lives in South Portland with his wife, Nicole, and their daughters, Hannah and Charlie.

Sorensen, Scott Mr.

Scott serves clients as a Portfolio Manager and Research Analyst. He leads the firm’s Investment Policy Committee. Prior to founding Vigilant, Scott was a Vice President and Portfolio Manager at Fleet Investment Advisors where he managed investment portfolios for high net worth individuals, non profit organizations and institutional clients. Scott holds the Chartered Financial Analyst® designation and is a member of the Boston Security Analysts Society and the CFA® Institute. He currently serves on the Dean’s Advisory Board of the Peter T. Paul College of Business & Economics at the University of New Hampshire. Scott earned a BS in Business Administration and Finance from the University of New Hampshire. Scott lives in Greenland, NH with his wife Terry, their son, Kyle, and daughter, Jinae.
