You have a voice in Augusta that's heard, thanks to your Society and the MSCPA's lobbyist. Legislators, leaders, and opinion makers open their doors to us and trust what we say. We strive to promote uniformity of regulations and to protect the integrity of your CPA certificate and to oppose legislation detrimental to the profession and to businesses in Maine.

The MSCPA is also actively involved in the decision-making process at the national level so that we can influence legislation that could impact you in your day-to-day work in the State of Maine. Two members of the Maine Society of CPAs serve on the American Institute of CPAs Council and many more serve on AICPA Committees.
