About Us

A majestic dock spans over the mirror-like surface of the lake as if reaching out to the green terrain of its farthest shore.

The mission of the Maine Society of Certified Public Accountants is to promote and maintain the highest standards of integrity while helping Maine CPAs manage their practice and keep informed of new regulations, procedures, and trends in accounting. The MSCPA, established in 1924, serves a diverse and growing membership of over 1,000 CPAs and accounting professionals in public practice, industry, government and education.

Additionally, the Educational & Research Foundation of the Maine Society of CPAs provides financial assistance for programs and scholarships that benefit students, educators, MSCPA members, and the public. The Foundation strives to improve awareness by educating students about the exciting and challenging career opportunities available to CPAs and by providing scholarship awards to those pursuing an accounting degree.

Impact the future of the CPA profession! Support the profession that has supported you. Please donate to the Educational & Research Foundation of the MSCPA when you renew your dues.
